I went along to see the film of quite interest stakes. I found it uncomprehensible. I can't say it was bad. At the same time, I can't say it was Oscar worthy too. Simply put the plot was about a war soldier who endure hardship during the World War 2 between the BRits and Japan. It was quite upsetting indeed don't get me wrong. But I just didn't feel for the characters especially the brutality. The only thing that I came out with was all to do with revenge and forgiveness.
