Spectre

Spectre

Spectre is the latest 007 Bond offering. Not bad a movie. A bit disappointing thou. Plot reasons is the reason for my disappointment. I personally enjoyed Skyfall better. Even the music at the beginning by Adel added to it. Although Sam Smith did justice to it, the music in this film, I still feel it wasn't enough.

The plot again was confusing. However it did come together eventually. heeheheh. Bond(Craig) is in Mexico City, trackie a guy down. Trouble ensues. M(Fiennes) is furious and tells Bond that "he is grounded". However Bond feels this is needed, so he hires the help of Moneypenny(Harris) and my baby Q(Winshaw). Q "pricks" him with a Microchip, so that M and everyone knows where Bond is gone to.

Diary 28th September 2015

Diary 28th September 2015

As per my normal weekly schedule I stayed up.

I was watching TV. Two and A Half Men, Everybody Loves Raymond and Will & Grace.

While watching TV, I got a call from Mom. I also got a call from Dad relating to the citizenship. I didn't see the point in replying as I'll be seeing him on Wed anyways. heheeh.

While doing my TV recordings etc., I was checking my Games requests on my Gaming account on FB, and it only came up with errors. So far it has lasted about 15mins or so but it lasted almost an hr. This has just been confirmed on my Tweeter account from RTE News.

I was getting my dinner. And decided to try the Tofu sausages. I was gonna upload to the Vegan group, but as I didn't enjoy em, I decided against it. haha

So instead of FB(never realised my such reliance on FB - hahahaha) I did my dishes,

NEWS

It has been announced(well more so speculated), that Pope Francis will make a Papal Visit to Ireland in 2018. The World of Family will be held in Dublin. So traditionally the Pope has always in the past always visited the World of Family event. This years World of Family was held in Philadelphia this year.

Alexander Pacteau, who was jailed for the murder of Karen Buckley in Glasgow, Scotland, maybe RETried, if there's new evidence found. It was found that he had raped in the past.

Solace

Well what a film it turned out to be. NOT what I had expected. You would do well to be VERY Mentally STABLE. or as the States put Emotionally Stable. There were plenny of mature themes, in IReland, they have it as 15+, I feel they should have it slightly higher, say about 16. They had all the usual of crime, shooting. etc., They actually showed a scene of self inflicting wounds. ie slicing wrists and the death occurring. Then you must certainly WOULD not want to have just eaten. THankfully I had finished my nachos when this scene appeared, whereby an Autopsy of a kid was occurring. They had taken the brain out of the skull and literally as I type this, I get a bit queasy sliced it in half like a cake or whatever. I felt there was no need for that for me personally. The plot was on the ball alrite. The main character clearly suffered from some form of Mental Health trauma. He was even asked what does he have. He himself couldn't bring himself to reveal.

PLOT

The plot was self explanatory. We are treated to a crime scene. Joe(Dean Morgan) hires out John(Hopkins). Joe along with his partner Katherine(Cornish) help with John to solve very similar crimes who has physic visions. IN that the victim is of a dying nature, where they have an underlying issue. For e.g a kid ie the boy I referred to above, died of wounds to the neck, but then is later revealed that he actually had BRain Cancer. Likewise Joe the Detective. He was actually shot and later revealed that he was Stage 4 Cancer. So the killer Charles Abmorsie(Farrell). The film deals with whether someone should kill  out of "compassion" or "mercy". However John RIGHTLY points out we "can't play God".

The Transporter: Refuelled

Simply put, not the best I have encountered throughout the whole series. Although this is a reboot of the trilogy of the past. I found the Frank(Kreins) character to be of weaker to a certain extent. Now while action was no short of it, I found it to be lacking. I loved the way they kept the majority of it. However with Frank's father???? now what up with that. Then to use the father in a kidnapping??? Nope completely lost there. The plus side, the Airport scene was class, and the usual speed chase of which we were treated to two.

PLOT

At the beginning we see a familiar, whereby a bunch of crooks are trying to steal the car. However Frank has other tricks up his sleeve. haahah. He then goes to meet his father Frank Snr(Stevenson). During one of his socials with his Pops, he answers a call to: "Is this the Transporter", great tagline, love it. He meets a woman who starts the whole thing. A series of events occurs. The girls help the Transporter in retaliation.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation

Well this film, was actually quite good. I had seen the previous Mission Impossible films and found them to be quite confusing plot wise and the technical aspects of it. However with this particular franchise, I found it quite easy to understand. The action was top notch, no question. I enjoyed it immensely especially with Plane scene at the beginning. Me with a fear of flying, I actually felt I was actually on the plane. So real it was. hahaah. My fav scene thou was with the Prime Minister(Hollander) and Atley(McBurney) when Atley's face was 3D Printed ontop Ethan Hunt's(Cruise) face. I thought that was class. When Prime Minster claims that Brandt's(Renner) hand is "So warm". We all got a great laugh. Brandt looks over at  Atley/Hunt and hunter shows the face as much as to say deal with it. I thought it was class.

So now onto the plot. The plot as I says above quite simple. Ethan Hunt(Cruise) stumbles upon a group known as the Syndicate who has been described as: "An Anti-IMF",who's job is to take down the IMF and all that goes with it. It all starts off as I said above the plane scene. You'd wanna have a head for heights, no question. Anyways, Ethan gets onto the plane with the help of Ethan's buddy Benji(Pegg). Then afterwards a LOVELY score. It really was like a TV Series type as I actually learned of this lately. Hunley(Baldwin) wants to disband IMF competly and appears in a US Senate Committee. Classic line from Brandt is "I can neither confirm nor deny any details without the permission of the Secretary".He continuously states this when asked by the Committee. So a series of events occur. The Vienna Opera scene was a classic scene too. The Chancellor of Vienna is assassinated. I don't get the connection to it. They did explain the Istanbul and all the majors terrorist attacks. But that's about all I understood.

2D - Sound spectacular.
Pls note there are no extra scenes BEFORE the credits or AFTER

Transporter 2

Frank's car is attempted to be robbed. Great start to a great series or franchise. Seatbelt is the third rule of the car. He drives Jack(Clary) a kid home from school. ON one of the days, he picks up the Jack to drop him at a party, he is somewhat caught in a crime spree. Frank is forced into a kidnapping AGAIN. as this time, the son of Jefferson(Modine) are being held. So this time Frank spends the whole movie searching down the culprits. However we later learn that it wasn't a kidnapping. It was actually something to do with Jefferson's Job. So he has been infected with the virus, and the wife Audrey(Valletta) and of course the son. Anyone who breathed the stuff would be infected as its airborne. and as such a search for antiDote ensues.

I found this movie to be exceptionally fabulous. However with the movie, thou, the title may need to be researched as the movie didn't deal at all with Frank actually Transporting packages etc., He transported a kid to school and spent the whole film in actually tracking the culprits etc., etc., Statham's acting capabilities much better than the first one. I find that Statham is much better acting alone than say the Expendables series. That belongs to Sylvester Stallone. Like his use of everyday objects as fighting mechanisms like the firehose , etc.,e ttc., And can anyone explain how did Frank get the AntiDote to the conference and to the folks. That wasn't explained.

The Transporter

The film is very basic plot. Thats what I love about movies. Some I do like when you are left guessing, but not all the time.

A Transporter is required to deliver "Packages" around. All Packages are "required" to follow "guidelines" in case of car chases. His first trip to deliver robbers Packages to a guy. "Weight", "Destination", He continues to get jobs or "Transports". However on one particular job, he receives a package to be delivered to Grenoble, France. He stops buy for refreshments and his car is blown up. As expected he gets very pissed off. This Chinese woman - Lai(Shu) was one of the deliver packages. HE delivers her. IN return he receives the package that blew up his car. So on a revenge warpath, he encounters Lai again. He is so annoyed. It is then revealed Lai involved in his personal life is actually because she tells Frank(Statham) that her Father and family are to become slaves in a shipment container.

I enjoyed the movie. Seen it a few times. Great action flick. No doubt. However I was lost as to the bit why Frank was late and yet Frank himself is punished by his car being blown up. So according to the film, If I'm late for something and that was MY rule, I should be punished?????

Transporter 3

This film, tells the story of Frank(Statham) being put to sleep or framed to so that the Frank has a band on him. It seams that he was asked to do a job in the first or second film, and he refused. And as such his past has come to haunt him. So as such he is now under surveillance with a bracelet.

While there was plenny of action in it, no doubt, and the skills as I said in the previous sequel is spectacular. However with this sequel, I found the plot slightly confusing. There was the Minister, his daughter, then the guy who was with the daughter at the beginning, and the baddies. Now I can't connect the baddies and the Minister. To do with Environment????

The Sweeney

Plenty of action in this film. Very enjoyable. At first when I saw this film, The Sweeney were gang members, however I have since learned well today hahaha, that they are an elite Police Force. Jack(Winstone) and George(Drew) and co are called into action. I didn't get the plot at first. So that's a negative. The Opening scene is a robbery. So I thought they were the robbers, but it so happens that they are an Elite Police Force as I said earlier. Then they are then told that there's to be a big hiest in a "Non-traditional high street bank". One member of the police force is killed and hence a battle ensues. Jack is stripped of his Police Badge, and sent to prison. Its up to sexy George to break him out or at the very least to prove his innocence. So a great movie, however plot very lost.

So my guess is that you'd have to have seen the TV Series. hahaha. So overall enjoyed it emmenesley. Very good. Highly recommended. Loyalty is a key player in the film.

The Negotiator

One word came out of this film. CORRUPTION. I wasn't actually gonna do a review, considering, I would only have one word. But the action and the scene, was just unreal. It tells a story of a cop Danny(Jackson), was being framed for a murder of another cop. Battles ensues between the cops and the Feds aka FBI get involved. Music score was quite good actually. Very suspenseful, no doubt. hahaah. Chris Sabier gets involved as Danny asked for him. Then during the film, the SWAT team and other police cops Chicago PDs, get involved by breaking what Chris had asked him to do. Then the lawyer or some other cop gets thrown into the ring, Frost. It has then been found that Frost was the one who did the framing. It just goes to show you who you can trust. "You can't trust anyone".

Spooks: The Greater Good

You'd have to have seen the TV Series Spooks. It was enjoyable, don't get me wrong. Your usual everyday criminal film. A guy escapes another. A guy is released, while being transferred. The blame is put on the inside. The guy on the inside, is himself struck off. My apologies for the lack of plot. As I says, you have to have seen the TV Series Spooks. I don't even know the characters names. haahha. Great action otherwise. Tagline: "MI5(Mission Impossible series) Meets BOurne series.

John Wick

Completely different genre. Again one word: Revenge. John's(Reeves) wife dies. The wife left a puppy(Beagle might I add), however the puppy is killed. He gets his revenge. He typically runs after one individual. As far as I understand, John's car was stolen. So I can't get why the puppy was killed. It just don't make sense. I ensured as an Animal rights activist that "No animals were harmed in the making of this film". So overall great movie.

Run All Night

Not bad a film. Quite confusing thou as how the son Mike(Joel Kinnemean) from RoboCop was caught in on the act to the point he is now a fugitive. So in short Shawn(Harris) is running after Mike(Kinneman) because Mike was spoz to have shot Jimmy's son Danny. From what I could gather, Danny(Halbrook) WANTED to get back on the game in relation to drugs, even asking his pops in front of the Albanians. So yeah quite confusing. Oh and Mike and Jimmy don't get on for fyi.

Chappie

What a wonderful but heartfelt film  Tells a story of a robot known as Chappie, help's save the world. He's known as a Black Sheep. Ie "different". The plot is quite simple but at the same time VERY difficult to understand coding. Chappie became to being when he was fighting with the the human police, he was shot with a rifle by Hippo(Auret). So as such Chappie is put aside. Deon(Patel) is working on a piece of code that will upload human consicnece to a robot. So Deon steals a Guard Key. Vincent(Jackman) is hot on his tale thou. Making up stories etc., Vincent even goes as far as to DISABLE the whole lot of the Robot Police. While on the other hand, another storyline exists. That Chappie was "Stolen" by Ninja and Yolandi to help them with a heist to get money for to give back to Hippo. Etc. So very well loved by all, very heartwarming film.

Diary 9th January 2015

Dad and I continued. Packaged completely. Dad got a call from Gerry his Bro. He wanted a lend of a jack saw. I met Siobhan my cuz's bf. I hadn't seen Gerry since Reggies funeral. We then went to Beaumont House(Review here). I took down the lights outside. Packed them up. I then headed to outhouse. First to Lidl as I left my hat behind. Manners of a pig. Racism. Cineworld for Taken 3. Homophobic.

Following is the Facebook Status I posted in relation to the manners of a pig in Lidls in Parnell, Racist remark in the Outhouse and sadly the homophobic treatment, both my friend and I recieved.

I regret to inform you all that yesterday was not the best. Although I helped my folks with decorations, that was grand. By all means.
I popped along to Lidl, on Moore St., to see if my Hat was handed in. I went to a security guard who btw was actually looking at his cell phone, I asked if my hat was handed in, immediately he said no, Not even a budge to see if it were handed in. So after I paid for my kettle, I in a fit of rage, went to a Staff member, who gladly helped and asked around. I wanna thank him. But the security in LIdls' Moore St., clearly NEED retraining.
I then went to the Outhouse for my nightly entertainment. At one stage in the Men's Night, I was racially attacked indirectly. By this I mean, the lads were referring to some guy in the French Attacks or something, and the person(of whom shall remain nameless) said he "should go to the Romanian Orphange". I attempted to intervene by telling "errr hello, I was there", however he failed to listen. My friend who was with me throughout the night, told me that he has been told in the past that I am from Romania, and that he told me that he is actually racist. Despite the person knowing this, he made the remark. I was deeply gutted that I was lost for words. I shall be taking this matter with the Management of Outhouse and the GardaĆ. RACISM MUST STOP. It won't stop if I sit back and do nothing.
My mate also came with me to the Cineworld Dublin to see Taken 3. I was most not prepared for what was to happen next. We were BOTH treated to Homophobic abuse throughout the film. It was quite scarey. My mate got the bate thou. We were treated to heckling. Although security was called a few times, that did not stop them. We were both called faggots and my mate was called OTHER names too. I was literally sick to the stomach with the treatment. To the point I actually wanted to vomit in my nachos which I had finished btw. The security guard came with us for protection. We were afraid that they were gonna follow us. So we joined up with two females(whom we would like to thank PROFUSELY), for company. We then left them when we found that the lads disappeared. This continued throughout the night. We both wanted the Cops involved. We were told they were on the way. However we later learned, THAT was not the case. Although Cineworld Cinemas is a VERY LGBT Friendly cinemas, I know many staff who are LGBT Friendly at the very least, some are gay even BOTH male and Female, I was MOST distraught to learn that the Gardai had NOT been called. Again I shall be taking the matter up with the GardaĆ. HOMOPHOBIA MUST STOP. People in Republic of Ireland say Homophobia and living as a gay man is grand these days, it's NOT. If you people knew what actually happened. Like we were thrown at. Recorded and more than likely will be published on Facebook. If any of my Irish mates(of those that are left) or indeed international, comes across a video or photo or whatever of BOTH My mate and I, PLS REPORT to Facebook for Homophobic. On the way when I was leaving my friend to his Luas stop, the friend noticed that I was being homophobically looked at. I told him what my mother says to me all the time. HATERS hate SILENCE. I ignore all comments and looks etc.,

Strippers V Warewolves

Basic plot but very crappy. Not the best I've seen. Plot is a stripper in a lapdance accidentally stabs a guy for coming onto her, as in being a perv, who happens to be a werewolf,  in the eye. The Werewolfs panics and they come back with a vengeance. The ending thou I have to admit was good. overall an ok.
