Diary 4th August 2014 - Bank Holiday Monday

Well so far as I right this Diary as at 5th August 2014 at almost 1am, I have NOT slept. Throughout the whole day, I had been so worried of my sis' whereabouts, I had been ringing her, rang hospitals even the cops. Nothing. So I was left throughout the night that she was dead. Not the best feeling. So on my way over to Todd's, for a different entirety, I decided to try her once again. No surprise. So then, I deiced try something that I'd NORMALLY wouldn't for COST REASONS. So I rang her via Facebook's call function. TO my surprise she actually answered. I asked that she hang up so that I can ring on the O2 Network INSTEAD of the Data(Internet) which is COSTLY. Without going into details of her whereabouts, I'm more than happy to announce that she's safe and sound. That doesn't' mean that she's happy as larry or anything. She is undergoing treatment for her mental health. That's all I can give you for privacy reasons. Rest assured she will be looked after by myself her brother, and of course her family and friends. But I am so happy that she's alive and well. Its all we want, for her to be happy and most important SAFE.

So with that in mind, I continued onto Todd's for mainly to do gardening for him, as he's moving out to a another place and he wants to put the place into ship shape before he moves into his new place.  He set out the plan for the day. We do a bit of gardening, while he does cleaning inside, then to go to a viewing, then he'd have to wait for his Tescos groceries and finally finish the night off with the Movie.

So I started my job of gardening. Pruning the rose bush ie the prickly one, and weeding the patio. I did this for awhile. We then sat down to a cuppa tea. As he don't have soya, I tried an Earl Grey. He said that Earl Grey should be tasted with Sugar. Of which I did. It attracts its strength. I guess I will have to get use to Early Grey.

So then we got ready for a viewing out in Belmayne, Malahide, Co. Dublin. We waited for a bit. We were taken aback by the amount of enthusiast of the landlady and her (probably boyfriend - as I later learned). I learned myself that there's a Fr. Collins Park that you can walk around. The landlady who is a young female teacher is renting the place out. She lived there for 6 yrs and is now letting it. So expressed a bit of a missing say her TV Furniture and blinds etc., I found that a bit abnormal but Todd told me that's normal. She then thought that we were together moving in. So that suggest that's she's acceptance of gay people or whatever. However her boyfriend, of which I later learned that's why she was moving out, to probably move in with him, I kept looking at him. So hot he was. He was wearing very tight Grey Jeans, and very tight tshirt or at least on the smaller size as I could see his belly button or at the very very least his undies. He's hairy, But I just kept looking at him. I later on in the day, kept telling Todd this. That I've never felt like this after seeing a "straight" guy.

So then when we came back we continued on the gardening. We brushed up any dirt on the ground. He asked that I prune a plant that his mother gave him, when she was over here in Ireland for the first time a few years ago and then  to transfer it to a different pot.

So then we went inside. Entertained ourselves for a bit. I meself was getting a bit sleepy(NOT good news as I wanted to see the film. ). So I asked Todd if we could get a takeout, as I was starving me guts. So We agreed that I pay for the Cinema Food and he get hte Tickets and the Takeout(as part of my birthday pressie and my pay). We eventually got the takeout. Mind you it was lovely. It was actually Spice n Rice(A place I had planned on trying at one stage anyways). Todd had ordered Tescos groceries for today(Monday) for between 4pm - 6pm. It was approaching 6pm and no groceries delivery. So he started ring around. It was found that the van had broken down. So he is to get his ordered tomoz night(Tues)  around 8 - 10pm .

So Todd invited his friend Steve Kendell along to the cinema. I found him at first to be a bit insulting (obv joking - but as some of yee might know, I don't take jokes too well). But I like any other NORMAL human being got to know him UNLIKE other ppl who shall remain nameless who constantly judge ppl. I got to know Steve. He's actually a cool guy and NOT forgetting a hottie. hahahah. The three of us popped along to Guardian of The Galaxy(Review here). So after the film, we were going to go for a drink, however Steve had to head off and the Gibson Hotel bar was closing at half 11. SO then we dispersed and headed on home.

NEWS

Today marks 100 years anniversary of the beginning of World War 1, where Germany invaded Belgium. The conflict was hoping to have been ceased by Christmas of 1914 the year World War 1 began. Europe instead witnessed Slaughter on an industrial scale. It instead dragged on for 4 yrs. The collapsing of Empires were experienced or witnessed and the birth of New States. Úachtarán na hÉireann Michael D. Higgins joined heads of States from more than 70 countries including German's President: Joachim Gauck, UK's Duke of Cambridge: Prince William, French President: Francois Hollande, Belgian King Philippe of Belgium

Guardians of the Galaxy

Most impressive film to date. I got emotional thou when his mother passed away ie possibly of cancer or something. The film starts of with family members including Young Peter(Oleff). The mother wants him to hold his hand, and he couldn't bring himself to. He's about to but she goes and its too late. So in a fit of upset, he goes out. He is then abducted by a spaceship. The plot from what I could gather was that Nova PRime(Close) were recruiting a group of misfits. Rocket(Cooper); Drax(Dave Bautista); Groot(Diesal); Gamora(Zoe Saldana) and of course Peter who is now grown up acted by Chris Pratt. Excellent action, NO question. Excellent comedy. Great humor. It is then found in the end that the Baddy - ROnin is wanting to destroy the galaxy Sanders(something like that). To prevent this, the Guardians of the Galaxy strategise a plan. Sadly Groot passes away, but Rocket gets a stick(from Groot) and he begins to grow again. I was expecting to see Peter aka StarLord shirtless as seen in the XPose interview, however got more than we bargained for. We saw him in his undies. Now how hot is that. Damn. mmmm. Its a bit similar to Avengers. In that major characters from the Marvel universe are gathered and attempted to kill the baddie as i like to call em. heheeheh. Overall a wonderful film.

Diary 3rd August 2014

After a wonderful night, with Brendan and Daniel, we all woke up eventually around 8am. We didn't chat as much as light night. hahaha. Daniel had recommended Coconut Milk last night. So I decided to get it. I waited til Tescos opened. But as it happens they were already opened. hahaha. So the three of us headed to Tescos. Then we all dispersed. Brendan went back to his house. And Daniel and I, headed on home. WE chatted, got to know each other. heehehe. On our way, We encountered Portobello College. Where I told him about the time I spent for the work experience. However I did notice something else, where I DIDN'T spot yesterday. The main building or the Administration Bullring of Portobello College is now some English Language School(Atlas or something). We then continued our journey and came across the Unitarian Church. He had asked me in advance about it. While there, we went in on a service. Two aspects of the service caught my eye. To take the word "God" out of the your daily lives. This remark was said if I can recall was actually to do with atheists. Something like that. Then the other was the congregation was asked if they were to receive an email from God, what do you think it would be said to you. But what caught my eye was actually the "Image of God".
So then we continued. While waiting at the lights, Daniel saw Brendan on the bus. I hadn't seen it. I was looking at the pot holes that was ont he road. Unreal. So Daniel and I dispersed. Daniel headed onto Baggot St and I headed down Kildare St.,

On my way, I encountered the area where TV3 and RTE1 do their interviews and reporting, on Molseworth St.,

I then noticed the amount of tourists. Its unreal. In particular students. Great to see such buzz alrite. No question of that. ahhaah.

So then I came home, in the middle of GAA matches which had started. Then I popped into Indian Taste, as I was starving me guts. I have been there before.

Mom yesterday, took my TV and Lappy, as she had the intention of me moving out IMMEDIATELY into their home. I have no intention of moving into THEIR home. Oh I will be moving out, NOT into THEIR HOME. So as I was rushing home(so to speak), to start doing yesterday News, and have a bit of space for Dallas Repeat. Then on the way home, I only thought that Mom has my Lappy and TV, so no Dallas this week :(.

So then Mom appeared shortly after I had finished my meal. So My sis and I were to go out to with the family. As it happens My sis wasn't available. She's feeling under the weather atm. So pls pray that she will
get well soon.

Oh and before I forget, Both Brendan and I, learnt some interesting American terminology from Daniel. He's originally from America. e.g. Wine Cooler is actually an Alcopops. How this came about, was that we were discussing drinks. And when Daniel mentioned Wine Cooler, I understood he was referring to the mini fridge cooler.

Me worrying about more flooding while I was at O' Farrell's last night, I started to get anxious or whatever, and mourning for my puppies: Patch & Sammy.

Diary 2nd August 2014

Well it is with great regret to announce that the’res a possibility of me moving out of my VERY first home due to flooding AGAIN!!!!. I’ve 2 floodings. And as they say “3rd times STRIKE Law, we’re out” as they say. I can’t quite recall the time frame or whatever. But the first time, I endured the flood, wasn’t the best, it was up to near the bed. I attempted to call the 911, but they couldn’t help me, as I was able to leave the premises. They could only do it, if I were stuck in the premises. This was the time when Dublin was under water a few years ago. In the meantime, the Landlord, had refurbished the place. Then afterwards it flooded again. However not as bad. So now with the 3rd time flooded, I’ve had it. A person can only take a certain amount. So firstly I shall begin the HUGE cleanup on Tuesday as we have the Bank Holiday weekend in Ireland. So I’ve plans made. Like for today Saturday Night, I will be with my friend O’ Farrell and his mates. Then Sunday will be with my Fam MY Sis at the very least and then Monday to see Todd for Gardening and a film. Now getting back to the actual event at hand, I had got up with a view of actually looking at Friday’s news, However when I woke up, I heard quite alot of trickling, So I got up to a flood(Says I to meself FUCK IT), So I in me boxers at 5am in the morning, with my leather(faux pas – to my knowledge), get out the window to block rain and water from getting in again. SO I dragged the Sandbags to my door and a towel I never use. It did help apparently. So then I got back in and salvaged what I could. My deeply beloved Inflatables did get a bit of a hit, BUT I managed to salvage em. Likewise my new clothing I purchased over the last few weeks.

So while looking at the news, I have been for a few hours, working around how to get my Pics from the Sammy (my old phone). The Drives wouldn’t work. So I had to work extra. First I had to make room on the SD Card so that I could use Lappy to transfer from SD Card to HDD on the computer.

So just as I was about to have a toastie before going to O’ Farrells, I saw Mom coming down the steps. She took me out for a takeout. She left me to the bus stops. But me wanting to walk to his, place. I cleverly waited at the bus stop just in case she’d come back when I go walking or whatever. So that when the bus went by, she’d know that I’d be “on” the bus. hahaha. So when the bus had come and gone, I then headed down Clonliffe Rd., to go back to my place for a toilet break.

Then I got ready for my length of a walk to my mate Brendan’s where he was to gather a few mates of his. ON my travels to Rathfarnham where my mate lives, I was walking in wet, rainy viciously etc.,I was amazed as to the amount of people that were out etc., Like considering it was apocalyptic. Oh I had my umbrella. There were times that the rain let up(very rarely), I would take down my umbrella. But it was found that the rain from the trees was heavy anyways. hahaha. But generally constantly raining throughout the walk. I was drenched from head to toe. hahahaah. I then passed a few landmarks. One being Portobello College, where I used to work for work experience in Whitehall College of Further Education. I was required as part of my course for two week. I remember I had to do paperwork as part of the Course work. I used Uncle Joe’s death as an excuse but as it happens its actually wasn’t required. The lecturer was easygoing. No question of it. Then I arrived in Rathmines. 2 memories came to mind. One of em was a guy I was to have sex with. I passed his house. I initially met him on Manhunt. I remember, I arrived late, and as such he suggested I stay over. However I wanted to go home(bearing in mind I was still living with my folks) to Lappy. And the other memory which is more of a recent one, in that I met Brendan Searson over at Swan Leisure, which I actually passed. hahaha. So then with a few hiccups(Not much btw – Thanks to Sammy 2’s assistance on GPS Navigation) I eventually arrived at O’ Farrell’s place. However as I wasn’t gonna carry a vodka bottle and a coke bottle all the way over from Fairview, I decided to get the supplies when I arrived. As there’s a Tescos beside where he lives, it was handy. It was BYOA/D(Bring Your Own Alcohol/Drink) event. ahhaah. So while I was in tescos, I bumped into a familiar face. He was surprised to see me there. He thought I was living there. I said, no I was visiting my friend Brendan of which both guys know each other. The guy in Tescos had another guy in tail with him.

So then finally I arrived at Brendan’s place. A 2 hr walk, on a wet rainy night. What a great and most enjoyable walk. Again despite the rain, I thoroughly enjoyed the walk. So when I went in, I came across Daniel. I met Daniel originally with Brendan at Pride. Twas wonderful and lovely to see him again. WE chatted for hours on end. With of course our alcohol. heeheh. I was constantly offering the use of Dips Nachos and of course Absolut etc., O Farrell thought that the Absolut was Russian. So I quickly in a fiery said that Russia is against gays, and if Absolut were to be of Russian product, kinda ironic and contradictory. So then I looked at the Bottle and as it happens it’s actually Swedish, to which myself I was relieved. As I know for a fact that Absolut do support Gay Marriage. They outstandingly support gay rights and marriage equality. Even the last time when I first found out in Panti that they don’t sell Smirnoff Vodka, BUT they sell Absolut Vodka and I quickly told the bar staff sure. The reason for the quick answer was that they support Gay Rights.

So then we continued on the harse topic of Water Charges here in Ireland. As some of you may know that Ireland for hte first time is getting Water Charge ie we will be charged for using Water. So I proceeded to ask the guys this. TO my surprise Brendan totally against it. I said that US have it, UK and NI have it, and I’m pretty sure other countries in EU let alone the world have it. Daniel could see thou the point if all of a sudden a person is to start getting a new bill that it would be annoying others.

I then told em of my misfortunes at the Annual Gay Pride Parade. I revealed to em that I have written a letter to the editor regarding the matter. That I was totally disgusted with the whole idea of gays discriminating there own. I went on to give an example of Country A and Country B analogy. They were in complete awww and agreement. I then asked is it right to use a “tactic” to the No side of the campaign for the upcoming Gay Marriage Referendum. E.g WE could say to the No side BUT you hid Babies for the Mother and Baby Homes, Molestation etc., etc., Brendan totally agrees, now that I think actually BOTH agree. As back in Pride Event of Pride Politics, we were refrained from doing such tactics

Then somehow Business Ethics comes up. I me being a Gay Rights activists, had to ask if you were working for a company who is AGAINST gay rights, marriage etc., and a gay couple comes up to you an employee and asks for a cake with a same sex on the cake or something. Brendan would say, while he would obviously agree, but for the sake of the job, he would have to decline them. Daniel however would just simply quit. I would have to agree with Daniel, ahem that is until Brendan made a very good point, in that there ain’t not much jobs out there. So there’d have to be some compromise or something.

I then came across something horrific. Whenever I’m with Brendan he would cross the road, here’s me thinking it was to do with his opposition of the Republican Sinn Féin shop that’s on the street, BUT whats above is what shocked me. Brendan told me ontop the shop, is another business called Life House. He describes it as totally Right Winged ie against Gays, Abortion etc.,

So then Brendan then asked me, If I believe in God, and then WHY?I of course believe in God, However I failed to answer WHY? I attempted to give him the excuse that I prayed to him that the Flood would reced, which miraculously it did. Daniel’s answer of course he believe’s in God, BUT his reason is very simple. YOU NEED Religion and Spirituality.

Brendan is very keen on learning why I wanna move to NY. My first was Homophobia, But now its the LGBT Community and how they treat they’re kind. Brendan asked if any of us heard the term INTERNALISED HOMOPHOBIA. I vaguely recall it. But I don’t think any of us knew. But anyways, Daniel recommends North East(NY, CT, Vermont(Personally recommended by Daniel etc.,et c., ) and Cali.

And finally before we jetted off, we had one last discussion of relating to one of the thoughts that I’d have when I walk everywhere. So in this instance, I told em, that one thought that came to mind was that do all countries have some form of civil war past history e.g US against the South(southerners and Red Necks), Spain with Basc Separatist and the Catalans, Italy with the South too, and who can forget Ireland and the Northern Ireland. Very delicate issue that is. Then Daniel reminded us that Spanish DON’T have a dialect. Unlike Gaeilge e.g Caide mar a tá tú(Donegal – Ulster), Conas atá tú?(Leinster); Cén caoi bhfuil tú?(Munster). As far as I understand Romania, French and perhaps other languages(well minus the Spanish language) DO have a dialect. Who knew. heheehe

So then We heard Brendan’s mother coming in, and we all quiten but continued chatting. However that was shortly curtailed as we had all exhausted our voices. So Brendan went off and then Daniel and finally me. heheeh

Diary 1st August 2014

Well I've yet to sleep hahhaah. It was my plan to go to sleep after my appointment. BUT I have another event, as its the Bank Holiday weekend. heeheh.

The last time, I was up with me folks(same day, Sammy 2 was born - hahaaha), I had made an appointment for the dr. in relation with my legs complaining of a heavy feel ie constant need to have my legs elevated above me. Then my hearing, had gone down and last but not least my Left side cheek beings soar. To my surprise, when I had arrived, I checked in then eventually I was seen to. Here's whats so surprising thou. That he couldn't find anything wrong with me at all. I actually said to him, that am I becoming a hypercondriac(where one brings the symptoms on themselves or WANTING a particular item). So I requested a Blood Test which will be for next week.

So then I met Mom with a view of getting my glasses fixed AGAIN!!!!. So we got the bus in. Mom encouraged me to get my citizenship etc.c, So then after the glasses, We headed to meet Maureen. I decided to give Maureen a wee surprise. And what a reaction I got. I was in stitches. I literally just tapped her on the shoulder. And the reaction was just priceless. She literately turned around, in a statue pose with her phone in her hand. Now she obv got a surprise. yet you have da phone in your hand. hahaahah. What a laugh. So then the three of us headed to KC Peaches. I've been to the one on Dame St., I really love their food. The one on Nassau St., was no better. Totally amazeballs.

So then the two of us headed on to MobileCare to get a cover for my phone. Maureen thou headed on off to meet her Sis Colette.

After I got off the bus, I wanted to get cash from the Credit Union. For the night out Tomorrow night in particular.

Went to get my O2 Money card, I left behind in Panti. When I got the card, I wasn't sure of the number. Like why would I bother my barny in learning it off by heart. hahaha. So I got a bit anxious and figuring out a way to see if it were mine. So when I got back, I purchased a monthly subscription.  of Google Storage for $2 a month for 100GB. Not bad a price i says. As it happens it is mine. As I then logged onto my account, and saw that the transaction had appeared almost instantaneously.

Then FINALLY I got to go to sleep. heeheheh
