Fantastic Four(2015)

Well what can I say about this film. It was a good film. That's all I can say. It is unfortunate that it has been getting bad reviews etc., Well unfortunately I can agree. Another friend of mine was saying that their's action for about 5mins, how true is that. Great action between Victor/Doom() and the Four, namely: Reed(); Johnny Storm/BABE(Michael Jordan); Ben(Jamie....);Sue(); Great action, that only lasted for about 5 or 10mins if even that. The rest was all about the science aspect and the lead up to the aftermath. Like the original actually dealt with plenny of Action, no doubt, it also dealt with when the Four get infected, how they deal with it, and not only that how the PUBLIC deal with that. This film, ie the Reboot, did not deal with any of that. Its like the Four were in seclusion.  One thing that really lacked was COMEDY. Every form of Marvel I have ever known, has always had some form of Comedy. However this one NOT ONE. I was surprised.

The film starts off with Young Reed and Young Ben trying to build a Teleporter for a Science Fair. Franklin Storm sees this and he and Sue, daughter of Franklin actually want the idea. So they go ahead. I was a bit lost with the government aspect. So then Reed is introduced to Victor/Doom who is said to have started the whole thing. My precious bundle of joy Johnny Storm(son of Franklin) is out car racing and gets into a car accident. So his father collects him and recruits him into helping the rest of the crew, to build this Teleporter. During a one night drunken encounter, Johnny, Reed and Victor. Ben(whom Reed rings him) go through the teleporter with a view of Going through and back within the night. However things go drastically wrong because Reed sticks his hand in some gueye stuff and it explodes. Everyone gets infected. Johnny has become the Human Fireball, Ben the Rock, Reed the Extender and Sue who discovers their ploy, also gets infected when they arrive back on Earth and it explodes. Sue has Invisibility capability. Reed then disappears claiming he is trying to get back to the way he was and the rest of them for that matter. Sue and Ben are tasked by the government to get Reed back. So afterwards when everyone is together, they now have to face their NOW rival former friend Victor or now known as Doom. Then the Four now need a new place and face the Government. Cleverly done I must say when the Government say "What happens if we say no", Ben/The Thing seen as saying I think its best you say Yes and My precious Johnny says"Just say Yes".

Ant-Man

An interesting movie. Was quite amused by it. Plenny of comedy was a plenny. heheehe. The plot I was quite happy with. Was quite simple. A guy Scott(Rudd) of which I always mix him up with Ben Affleck, is a criminal. He is released from prison, and swears to go "straight", for his daughter Peanut/Cassie(Fortson). However, the bit I missed thou, was that Dr. Hank(Douglas) somehow hacks into the minds of Scott's friends Luis(Pena), Kurt(Dastmalchain) and Dave(T.I.). So he then is sent back to jail and Dr. Hank gets him out via his Antman suit. Yellowjacket(Stoll) is the villain in the film. I'm very impressed with the film, in particular the action ie the moves. The CGI could have been improved. There's been a promise of Avengers with Antman. That looks promising. My babe Falcon(Mackie) is donning his Falcon suit. He's quite a scorcher alrite. ahahah.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron

The film starts of with the "Twins" and we also note that the twins are master to a guy from Iron Man 4 ie the Mandarin, well the Mandarin's helper. One of the twins Quicksilver/PIetro Maximoff(Johnson), I instantly fell in love. Quicksilver superhero is he can travel at the speed of light. The other twin - Wanda Maximoff(Olsen), can manipulate minds etc., The Ultron(Spader) is born via Tony Stark(Downey Jr.) and THe Hulk(Ruffalo). Things get a bit eary thou when the pack of em are partying the night away, we see JArvis(Bettany) being killed by Ultron.

So all in all, the Avengers reuinite against Ultron. I found the film in general good. NOT the best of the series. Iron Man, Captain America(Evans), Hawkeye(Renner), Black Widow(Johanssen). Samuel L Jackson reprises his role as Nick Fury.

Two faults, I found about the film. One being, I actually at one stage thought I was watching Terminator series. With Terminator it was Man V Machine. Nothing different. The only difference was the plot. END OF.
And the second being, I felt a bit sad that e.g Hawkeeys' character is gone, as he's a family now. etc., Im allergic to change. haahah.

 

Big Hero 6

I popped along to the most anticipated movie of my Babes Inflatables. Big Hero 6. The film surrounds an Inflatbles that sets about saving the a town. How it stats that is that a young kid Hiro has an amazing relationship with his Bro Tashadi. Hero starts with Robo Fighting. His bro Tashadi is exceptionally looking out for him. I've never seen such closeness. He brings his Bro Hiro to a Nerd School college kinda. Hiro is overwhelmed. He meets Baymax(INFLATBLES). He's an Inflatable Robot that is a "Healthcare Companion". They go on a journey in finding out the mysterious person who was involved the fire.

Overall a FANTASTIC film. Pure emotional at times. But fantastic. I smell a sequel on its way.

X-Men: Days of Future Past

I thoroughly enjoyed the film. The Wolverine character(Jackman), provided the best of laughs. My babe Lucas Hill(Actor name - not sure of the character name in the film) was special as always is. heeheh. The plot from what I could gather Wolverine was sent back in time from the future by Charles(Stewart). Now the film did go backwards and forwards from the future to the past and the past to the future etc., You had to keep you're eye on the screen. NO Question of it. I was most impressed with the action by Fassbenders character Magneto. But the cleptomaniac character towards the begging, Maximoff who by the is very cute provided great laughs and comical aspects of the film. The film continues to realise the audience that Mistique was wanting to kill Trask for a reason of which I don't have too much memory of. Trask is a company owned by Bolivar Trask(The small guy).

Bottommline, film most enjoyable, comical, BUT keep an eye on the screen. If you look away, you've lost the plot to the film. I was able to keep any eye on the characters etc.,
