Diary 10th December 2014

I woke up to 5 missed calls from Maureen and a text from my sis. As it happens she's have work done on her Broadband  service so I'm meeting in town instead. I was due to meet her in her place to help her with her Lappy.

So I set off to the outhouse. For the 2 r 3rd week NO good movie out. So I decided to write my cards. It was my view of going there to write cards. However there was a bit of activity. So I joined in. I made a point that if the outhouse is to survive they don't need wifi as it's costing them.

Tatiana n Gerry m Severn n Joyce were most appreciative of the cards given from here.

So I headed off home. On the way home stopping off for dad's Christmas gift. And something for myself as I wasn't sure if the bread had gone off etc. As it happens miraculously it still fresh. So I put up a few decorations. The lights that I was to get dad to check I found em. But no point now. Wrapped up Maureen's gift.

Diary 9th December 2014

Collected my dole. As I was crossing the road I was met with rain outta the heavens literally. I got done sorting my bank. Then in realised that I had forgotten to withdraw for dad for to pay him back.

So then I throttled up in the rain to mom b dad's and had a nice tea. Then afterwards I headed into my sis. Where I enjoyed our chats.

Diary 8th December 2014

Got up with one very simple task and that was to purchase Windows 8 DVD from Microsoft. However it turned out to be a nightmare. As such it stated as follows. Was looking for my post book to get the cash so that I cud top it up the O2 money for use on the site.

So then I headed off in such a faze. With a view of reporting my book as lost n "hopefully" cash as well. But when the lady told me to send to the head office ie GPO. I said forget it, to myself of course.

So I headed on up to mom n dad's. They saw me in such a faze ie stressed out. So Dad offered me the cash on a loan basis obv. So we headed onto Spar to top up the card. However that was grand but when I went to purchase it, it was found that the download wouldn't work as it was on a Windows Vista machine (Dads)in the meantime onto Todd my mate advising that u go n use ubuntu which I've done so etc etc. So I contacted Microsoft LIVE chat and very kindly offered to replace the download version with a DVD version. I wanted the download thinking I would burn to DVD and Bobs ur uncle but no didn't go that way. So now I have to wait almost a week for my refund with a FURTHER week for the actual DVD. So in short, I understood, I was able get the refund immediatly and they give me the Download Link to Burn to DVD.

So I just sat with em for a few hrs.

Diary 7th December 2014

Showered n dressed. Headed to PC World to get DVD-RW as reported yesterday. I got the wrong ones. On the way back thou I headed to Dealz  where I got a few more gifts. I described to myself "the boy who lived under the cupboard" referencing Harry Potter.  Then to the stalls where I got the streamers whereby hang them. The lady selling em told me of the laziness of the generation hence why I couldn't find em. I went to PC World where I enquired what's the difference between the purple n blue selfiestick. One of em was brazen the other was more accommodating.

I then headed back to mom n dad's.

Diary 6th December 2014

Got up with alot to do. So headed onto An Post with a view of getting stamps. But then was told that they were closed. So just got the cards.

I then got a call from Dad saying my pasta from Maudy is around. He thought I was in.  I was on the way home.

So then I headed onto towards gpo to get stamps. I was most impressed with his costumer service. So then I went towards PC World to get a selfystick for my sis n more important a CD-R for ubuntu. On the way I encountered NOT one Christmas decorations whatsoever. Then onto outhouse for to write my cards. On the way I noticed Christy's Hardware store. So I popped in there and saw that there were no Christmas decorations whatsoever. The hanging kind. I also encountered Caroline(whom my mom met in June's Pride festivities. ) n Cormac Cashman(who runs ProHomo on a Thurs in the Dragon.)  So I headed onto the outhouse and saw Severn and Tatiana. I told them of my lonesome that I would be doing come Christmas Day.

So I popped around to eurogiant and then to Rainbow Christmas market in the Chocolate Factory. I then headed onwards to Smyths Toys to see if Warrior Doll from last week's toy show. The shop assistnat didn't know what I was talking about let alone the Toy Show. On the way I encountered my Facebook friend Larissa from Romania. Was great to see her. What a welcome I got. Hahaha. At first I freaked out then I had remembered I had seen her on Henry St a few mins earlier. After witnessing sheer ignorance from the Smyths Toys they clearly didn't know anything about warrior doll from the toy show. I headed onto towards the folks. I headed into Tesco for to get Dad a pressie. I encountered Kevin McMahon from my secondary school. Hehehe. I then headed on towards my folks to take 2 on my ubuntu. Didn't work as I got the wrong CDs. It's meant tk be DVD-RW. Heheheh
